Parish Council Updates

Monks Kirby Parish Council February Meeting


  • The lamp post at the junction of Bond End and Main Street is now working, apologies for how long this took.  Apparently the first fix failed and they had to come back.

  • Talking Lamp Posts the Parish Council is proposing to erect a new lamp column part the way along Brockhurst Lane to improve lighting along this stretch of Brockhurst Lane, close by residents have been informed, it will be on the left hand side opposite the houses. The Parish Council has used some of the funds given to us by Light Source BP Solar and the Solar Farm erected near Pailton

  •  Parish Council elections will be happening in May this year, date and details to be confirmed.  If anyone fancies standing as a candidate for the Parish Council then please either contact a current Councillor directly or make your interest known to Rugby Borough Council.

  • Monks Kirby Litter Pick is scheduled for Saturday 23rd March. If you would like to give a hand then please meet by the Oak Trees at 9.30am, pickers,  hi vis and bags supplied.
